The Muppets are.my.favorite. Please give yourself the gift of watching them do Bohemian Rhapsody. You will not regret it!
XOXO
Thank you, Cindy, for an excuse to get new black boots. UGH!
M + D are re-doing the kitchen, and here is a sketch of the plans.
The last time they did it, I was 4 and Peter didn’t exist. That was when we discovered Exploded Eggs, from having to make breakfast in the microwave. Renovations = FUN.
Erica ran the NYC marathon!
Here is she in Bay Ridge with her cheering section: Chris (w/sign) and Steve (behind the camera). I am lame and made it to Williamsburg too late so I missed her, but I still cheered.
Also: Erica is the one who got me started with running so she is awesome X 2, for RUNNING A MARATHON and inspiring others to start running altogether.
This is my second-ever post as a contributing writer on sheepless.org, @scottballum ‘s mega-awesome new venture.
This time I wrote about my beloved discovery of the 80/20 rule, which reinforced my love of Italian (economists) and any other GTD products and concepts.
PASS IT ON PEOPLE
I love my Snuggie
Steve is also ready for the wkend. “tech hipster” edition.
Hey! Katherine is ready for the wkend. Random-office-shit style.
There are 3 things I would like to say about this video.
1. Absolutely watch it.
2. It immediately brings to mind my freshman year of college @Wesleyan, when two of my floormmates performed this lip-synch while standing the railings of our 3rd floor balcony for all of the tours for prospective students. Complete with choreography of their own (thanks, Kevin and Dave).
3. This is what I’d rather be doing at work all day every day.
You know what’s funny?
I think my parents’ old car phones had WAY better reception than my iPhone 3GS does, well anywhere come to think of it. These old honkers were the best — turned Mom and Dad’s cars into LIMOUSINES if you’d asked me at the time. Those green glow-in-the-dark buttons, and the wireless mic above the driver’s seat, when hands-free was a novelty. Props to M&D for being into mobile technology from way back, pagers included!
You know what’s funnier? A bluetooth version of a real carphone is still being made, and in Brooklyn no less.
LET NOSTALGIA REIGN
C’MON TEAM YOU CAN DO IT
